NBC 2013: The end of two comedy icons—30 Rock and The Office
I feel so dumb for sobbing over a television show, but then I think about what The Office has been for me. I’ve watched the show for 7 years religiously, and it is what introduced me to comedy. It taught me how to laugh, it taught me how to smile through a ton of hardships, and it got me through some of the toughest years of my life.
It’s the reason I am so passionate about the entertainment industry, it’s the reason I’m majoring in film, and it has truly shaped who I am as a person.
I couldn’t have imagined a better finale.
